We feel strongly about giving back to our community. Here at Tony Odisho we work with many organizations across the country in giving back.
Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago
Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital is ranked number 6 in the nation, and the best in Illinois for pediatric care. We help keep their on-site hair salon stocked with supplies and donate our time to provide patients and parents free haircuts. While this may seem small, most parents are at their child’s bedside 24 hours a day, and in need of a little pampering after much love, dedication, and courage with their loved one.
Rainbow house is a safe haven for survivors of domestic abuse, offering safety, stability, and healthcare on Chicago’s South Side. The 24 hour shelter is open to women and children who are victims of domestic abuse regardless of race, class, sexual orientation, or citizenship status. This is the also only shelter that accepts women with substance abuse issues and mental illnesses, and that has 24 hour bilingual staff available to residents and for all calls that come through on their crisis hotline. We at Tony Odisho strongly support the services and efforts put forth by the Rainbow House with donations of goods.
The Salvation Army
Instead of holding onto items we are not going to be able to use like unused event t-shirts. We donate these goods to the The Salvation Army who can make good use of them. We encourage others to consider donating to local organizations that can make good use of items you no longer use.
Atia’s Project Ladybug Fund
This charity’s mission is to provide emotional and financial assistance to child cancer patients and their families. We join the Chicago event every year and donate red hair extensions to be used towards their fundraising efforts.
